What is eircom WiFiHub?

eircom WiFiHub lets you get access to the internet over a wireless broadband service when you are out and about.

How do I register to use eircom WiFiHub?

eircom Broadband Customers - simply click the 'Register to use WiFiHub' link in the menu above and click register below the eircom logo. Fill out the form and we will send you your username and password straight away. You will need your eircom broadband account number to register.

Meteor and eMobile Customers - Simply free text the word "WiFi" to 50003 and we will reply with your username and password.

All other Customers - Can register while at an eircom WiFiHub location.

I am an eircom customer but don't have my account number? Is there any way I can register?

You will need your eircom broadband account number to register as we need to confirm that you have an active eircom Broadband subscription in order to provision your free eircom WiFiHub account. This information can be found at the top of your eircom bill on the front page.

iPhone and Android App

Our free Android and iPhone App will manage the connection from your phone to the eircom WiFiHub, so if you have an iPhone or an Android phone go to the App Store or the Android Market and download the app, then simply follow the instructions.

How do I retrieve my password if I have forgotten it?

Meteor or eMobile customer can retrieve their password by sending a text with the keyword 'Wifi' to the shortcode 50003.
Fixed Broadband customers can retrieve their password here.
All other customers can retrieve their password here.

I am a Meteor customer and I sent a text to 50003 but didn't receive a password
- should I send it again?

Yes, please free text 'wifi' to 50003 again and contact eircom WiFiHub support if you still do not receive a username and password - email

I am an eircom customer, how do I get access to eircom WiFiHub?

You must be an eircom broadband customer to get free access to eircom WiFiHub. You can still register for the service, to register simply click the Register link in the menu above, then select the register button below "eircom landline & non-eircom Customer" and follow the instructions.

Alternatively, you can contact eircom and become a customer today on and gain access to eircom WiFiHub and other free services including SportsHub and StudyHub.

I am not an eircom customer, how do I get access to eircom WiFiHub?

If you are not an eircom broadband, Meteor or eMobile customer, simply click the Register link in the menu above, then select the register button below "eircom landline & non-eircom Customer". Fill out the form and we will send you your username and password straight away. You must register for an account before accessing the service or attempting to purchase additional access.

How much will WiFiHub cost?

You will be able to avail of 10 minutes free access to eircom WiFiHub each day should you select the option to permit eircom WiFiHub and eircom Group Companies to send you information about offers, promotions and services from time to time.

Access to eircom WiFiHub is available until midnight for the small sum of €1 to ROI Mobile Operator customers.

How can I pay?

Access until midnight for €1 is available by sending a Premium SMS to 57480, this is a one-time fee and you will not be charged any additional fees for using this payment type. The €1 Premium SMS will be charged to your Bill-Pay Mobile operator charges or debited from your Pre-Pay Mobile credit. Access until midnight for €1 can also be purchased by credit card, simply follow the online instructions.

Some common problems experienced are:
  • Incorrect username or password
  • Browser proxy-settings not disabled, or
  • The account has expired

How can I find an eircom WiFiHub Hotspot?

Use our Hotspot location finder. Alternatively, our app has an inbuilt Hotspot location finder that you can use on or offline.

Browser proxy-settings not disabled?

A proxy server is a server that acts as an intermediary between a workstation user and the Internet to ensure security, administrative control, and caching service. Your computer may be configured to use a proxy server, these settings must be disabled to allow access to eircom WiFiHub.

Username and password entry problems?

Username and passwords are both case sensitive so please carefully check that you are entering them correctly.

Can I access my corporate network using an eircom WiFiHub Hotspot?

If your employer has provided you with a virtual private network (VPN) client and a firewall, you can seamlessly access your corporate network. eircom strongly recommends that its customers take measures to ensure the security of their wireless connections, such as virtual private networks (VPNs), encryption and firewalls.
